Sacramento Shelter Pets Alive at Stockton Animal Shelter
Congratulations on your upcoming adoption! Due to a backup of spay and neuter surgeries at Stockton Shelter, your adoptee will need to come back to the shelter for a spay or neuter appointment. We will reach out to you after adoption to schedule this appointment.
Until your adoptee is altered, they are going home as a foster-to-adopt. When their neuter/spay is complete, the adoption is complete and full ownership will transfer to you!
The purpose of this agreement is to highlight the conditions of the foster-to-adopt protocol.
