He’s a little shy at first meet and likes to smell and get situated before he will approach and then lean up against you for pets and attention! He’s not an in-your-face sort of guy and is not pushy for attention, but he’s quite content to sit by your side! Once he knows he is safe, he will look to his handler for guidance. We suspect he would be OK with mannerly children, but chaos is not his jam. He participates in shelter playgroups with gentle and dainty dogs or he’d be content as your one and only. He’s ready to go home!

Meeting Dogs at the Stockton Shelter
The shelter’s kennels are loud, stressful places for dogs. Some dogs express that stress by exhibiting behavior inside a kennel that they will not show otherwise. Please ask to take the dog you are interested into a play yard and spend some time getting to know him or her in that more relaxed environment.
