- This is one beautiful lady who simply wants to be loved and in return will offer up her loyalty and affection! What more could you want? She came to the shelter pregnant and seems very worried in the shelter environment, but bonds so quickly with people and just wants to be close. She’s sweet, gentle and mannerly and appreciates manners back. We suspect she would be OK with mannerly children, but no loud, chaotic home for this softie. She participates in shelter playgroups with gentle and dainty dogs, but might show more play. She’s amazing!

Meeting Dogs at the Stockton Shelter
The shelter’s kennels are loud, stressful places for dogs. Some dogs express that stress by exhibiting behavior inside a kennel that they will not show otherwise. Please ask to take the dog you are interested into a play yard and spend some time getting to know him or her in that more relaxed environment.
