- This gal is so very sweet and beautiful! She arrived in horrific condition and has ortho/back end issues – but she’s absolutely lovely despite it all! She enjoys the company of other dogs, but can’t play due to her condition. We suspect she would be OK with children who are mannerly and are going to behave appropriately (not jump on her back end or pull). She’s amazing!!!

Meeting Dogs at the Stockton Shelter
The shelter’s kennels are loud, stressful places for dogs. Some dogs express that stress by exhibiting behavior inside a kennel that they will not show otherwise. Please ask to take the dog you are interested into a play yard and spend some time getting to know him or her in that more relaxed environment.
