- This gorgeous gal is very overwhelmed in the chaotic shelter environment. She cowers until she feels safe, then she’ll get silly, drop into play bows and get her zoomie on. She has an active and playful side that will come out in a comfy environment. With dogs, she simply needs to know she won’t be harmed then she busts out in play. We suspect she would be OK with mannerly children. She’s fab!!!

Meeting Dogs at the Stockton Shelter
The shelter’s kennels are loud, stressful places for dogs. Some dogs express that stress by exhibiting behavior inside a kennel that they will not show otherwise. Please ask to take the dog you are interested into a play yard and spend some time getting to know him or her in that more relaxed environment.
