- This sweet, beautiful gal is very shy and timid and finds the shelter very scary. She might flinch at first, but she loves affection and soaks up attention! She leans her head up very gently to say thank you with kisses. Her eyes say it all: life has been rough and all she wants is a kind hand and TLC. She is gentle and mannerly. Dogs are a little scary right now and she isn’t feeling all that well, so for now she prefers gentle and dainty dogs. This girl needs to be in a home ASAP where she can be cared for and pampered as she deserves!

The shelter’s kennels are loud, stressful places for dogs. Some dogs express that stress by exhibiting behavior inside a kennel that they will not show otherwise. Please ask to take the dog you are interested into a play yard and spend some time getting to know him or her in that more relaxed environment.
