- Animal ID#: A326587
- Dog Name: Carrie
- Dog Sex: Female
- Approximate Age: 6 months
- Hello gorgeous! She’s a precious little compact nugget of goodness! This gal is a tad of a marshmallow and has a wonderful soft side. She’s affectionate and loves to give kisses. We suspect she would be OK with children. She participates in shelter playgroups with playful dogs and would love another dog in the home. She’s fab!!!
- She’s thriving in foster! “I am a very sweet girl with a big smile and beautiful gentle eyes. I love to chase the ball and play tug of war with my foster sister. I like my crate and have no problems being in it. My foster family has chickens and sheep that I am slowly being introduced to and learning how to behave around. When playing with my foster sister, I like to check in with my foster parents and get a quick pet. I really enjoy laying around on the couch with my foster dad after work being the big spoon. I’m all about dishing out the kisses! Overall, I’m a sweet and playful cutie patootie!”

Meeting Dogs at the Stockton Shelter
The shelter’s kennels are loud, stressful places for dogs. Some dogs express that stress by exhibiting behavior inside a kennel that they will not show otherwise. Please ask to take the dog you are interested into a play yard and spend some time getting to know him or her in that more relaxed environment. For more information on meeting dogs at the shelter, please read this article.
