- This gorgeous guy is so soft and sweet. You can tell he hasn’t experienced much of a loving touch, but he’s coming around so quickly and learning people are good! He now knows people will love him, will care for him, will keep him safe. With some sweet talking, this guy wants to be as close to you as possible! He is lovely in every way and willl sit in between your legs for pets and affection! And if you sweet talk enough, you might even get a silly zoomie and a play bow! He’s full of play but is far too nervous to show that all off at first. He participates in shelter playgroups with gentle and light-play dogs. We suspect he would be OK with mannerly children. He deserves to be treated as a loving family pet and is so wonderful!

Meeting Dogs at the Stockton Shelter
The shelter’s kennels are loud, stressful places for dogs. Some dogs express that stress by exhibiting behavior inside a kennel that they will not show otherwise. Please ask to take the dog you are interested into a play yard and spend some time getting to know him or her in that more relaxed environment.
