- Animal ID#: A320553
- Dog Name: Knox
- Dog Sex: Neutered Male
- Approximate Age: 1 year
- We are head over heels for this amazing beefcake! He’s gorgeous, affectionate, soft, fun – all yummy goodness! He can be a tad shy at first meet, but quickly melts and wants to be as close as possible with you! He just wants to please! He participates in shelter playgroups with gentle and playful dogs. We suspect this marshmallow would be OK with mannerly children. He’s absolutely fabulous!!!
- His foster says, “Knox is really special because all he wants to do is please us. He is a big time lover. He likes to give snuggles as well as receive them. If you were sick he would lay all day by your side without complaint. He likes to engage us in play by stealing a sock and running away. He never eats the sock.. but he thinks it is soo fun to have him chase him around to get the sock. Knox likes to go on walks, chew on bones. Knox likes to sunbathe. Knox is very loving with my 3 boys ages 13 and twins that are 10. Knox’s favorite thing to do is to follow us at night for our bedtime routine with the boys. He lives for snuggling and being close to you. He’s crate trained, housebroken and not destructive. He’s AMAZING!!!”

The shelter’s kennels are loud, stressful places for dogs. Some dogs express that stress by exhibiting behavior inside a kennel that they will not show otherwise. Please ask to take the dog you are interested into a play yard and spend some time getting to know him or her in that more relaxed environment. For more information on meeting dogs at the shelter, please read this article.
