- Animal ID#: A317340
- Dog Name: Lolita
- Dog Sex: Spayed Female
- Approximate Age: 1 year
- This girl is the cutest morsel! She’s a tad shy at first meet, but in about 10 seconds she is jumping and playing and showing off much more silly and fun! She’s one affectionate babe! She participates in shelter playgroups with gentle and playful dogs. We suspect she would be OK with children, keeping in mind her silliness once she’s comfy. She’s 100% fab!!!
- Her fosters say: “I just wanted to give you an update that Lolita, we call her Lola for short, is doing quite well. She settled down in our home and yard quite quickly. She learned where the dog toy box was and immediately pulled all the toys out before passing out from the hard work she put into that. She is crate-trained and sleeps soundly throughout the night. She absolutely loves to play and we introduced her to Bailey and they are crazy about each other. They run and chase each other in the yard and play tug a war with the dog toys. Lolita is so sweet and wants to just cuddle with you every night at the end of the day as you can see in the pictures. She knows sit and will do so in order to get treats. She does very well in the car. She learned the first day how to ask to go outside to go potty. She also did great camping! We don’t know how anybody was not missing this sweet girl; she is a dream and a joy to have!”

Meeting Dogs at the Stockton Shelter
The shelter’s kennels are loud, stressful places for dogs. Some dogs express that stress by exhibiting behavior inside a kennel that they will not show otherwise. Please ask to take the dog you are interested into a play yard and spend some time getting to know him or her in that more relaxed environment. For more information on meeting dogs at the shelter, please read this article.
