Mercury ๐Ÿถ

  • Animal ID#: A315890
  • Dog Name: Mercury
  • Dog Sex: Neutered Male
  • Approximate Age: 5 years
  • This boy is stunning with the best ears ever! He’s playful, fun and the life of the party – with a gentle and mannerly side as well. His favorite thing? Playing with other playful dogs! He’s 100% fabulous and ready to find a loving family with another dog!
  • His foster says: This boy is nothing but heart, he loves his human with everything he’s got. He’s very eager to please and has the best I love you face. He’s super loyal and wants to please, he prefers scratches over treats but will always happily accept his treats. He still gets excited over little things like a new toy or special treat. He loves his cozy bed and uses it when he needs a little break from the day. He’s a really easy dog at home. He’s housebroken and not destructive. He such a love, he’s super loyal, and you can tell he wants to please and learn. I’m not sure I’ve ever been loved by a dog so quickly and with so much heart. He just makes you feel better being around him, my neighbors visit just to snuggle with him. He’s still a bit nervous out in the world so we take things slow. You can easily tell by his body language how he’s feeling. Mercury loves to play with my dog, they spend time lounging in the sun together and like to play chase around the backyard. I give him breaks from her through out the day because she is a lot (1 year old cattledog, gsd, pit with a lot of energy and enthusiasm). He’s great with her and takes correction well if he gets a little over enthusiastic with play. I feel so lucky to have such an amazing foster doggo.

Here’s what a volunteer had to say about Mercury on his Doggy Day Out: He did amazing on his doggy day, we passed by others dogs and he had no reaction to them, he loves to explore everything. I love this boy!
