- Animal ID#: A309501
- Dog Name: Sheba
- Dog Sex: Female
- Approximate Age: 2.5 years
- This pretty German shepherd-Rottie mix girl is medium energy and easy-breezy! She loves playful male dogs and they boost her confidence! Extra bonus: She comes with some free training sessions with an awesome trainer! Her foster says: Although reserved at first, she woke up on her third day with us a different dog, wagging and happy! She is super easy in the house – generally well-mannered and low key. She is very sweet, playful, and affectionate, happy to tag along. She
is smart and easily trained, for example, quickly learning to sit and wait by the door before going out. She seems to have been crate trained, entering it willingly and showing no distress when we return. She has shown no interest in “counter surfing” and sleeps through the night on our schedule with no fuss. Sheba would do best in a home with older children or adults. She’s a cutie who’s ready for a forever loving home!

The shelter’s kennels are loud, stressful places for dogs. Some dogs express that stress by exhibiting behavior inside a kennel that they will not show otherwise. Please ask to take the dog you are interested into a play yard and spend some time getting to know him or her in that more relaxed environment. For more information on meeting dogs at the shelter, please read this article.
