• Animal ID#: A304225
  • Dog Name: Hades
  • Dog Sex: Male
  • Approximate Age: 2 years
  • This boy is absolutely gorgeous – and is miserable in a shelter kennel. He takes some time to trust, but is truly a different, happier dog outside the kennel. He gets super excited for treats and can be a tad mouthy with them but is quickly learning gentle. He also gets overheated rather quickly, so ensuring he’s protected from that is essential. He participates in shelter playgroups with gentle and dainty female dogs. In a home, away from the chaotic environment at the shelter, we think he’ll really come out of his shell and show just how great he can be!

Meeting Dogs at the Shelter

The shelter’s kennels are loud, stressful places for dogs. Some dogs express that stress by exhibiting behavior inside a kennel that they will not show otherwise. Please ask to take the dog you are interested into a play yard and spend some time getting to know him or her in that more relaxed environment. For more information on meeting dogs at the shelter, please read this article.
