Coco 🐱

  • Animal ID#: A303308
  • Dog Name: Coco
  • Dog Sex: Spayed Female
  • Approximate Age: 9 years
  • Coco is the happiest dog! She loves her people and going for walks. Her enthusiasm is contagious. She’s anxious about change, but once she settles in she’s an easy-going member of the family. She’s house trained, knows basic commands and has excellent manners. She likes to please her people. She’s been fostered in a household with a 9 and 11 year old, and a cat, and gets along with all of them very well. All she demands is regular walking, but not too much because it aggravates her sore hip. She is anxious about other dogs but not aggressive. She needs to be the only dog in the home. She’s amazing – and beyond adorable!

Meeting Dogs at the Shelter

The shelter’s kennels are loud, stressful places for dogs. Some dogs express that stress by exhibiting behavior inside a kennel that they will not show otherwise. Please ask to take the dog you are interested into a play yard and spend some time getting to know him or her in that more relaxed environment. For more information on meeting dogs at the shelter, please read this article.
