• Animal ID#: A301140
  • Dog Name: Harper
  • Dog Sex: Spayed Female
  • Approximate Age: 2 Years
  • This girl with the most amazing ears is very human-driven and people-focused. Her cherry eyes are being addressed! Harper has been in a foster home and is crate trained; she may take a day or two to acclimate again but did well. She loves the water and will spend hours playing with the hose on! It’s sooooo cute! She is a mannerly and relaxed dog in the home, an easy-breezy girl. She will need to be the only dog in the home, prefers no other pets and would do best with older children. She was in a home with children 12 and over and did fine! Harper is a fabulous girl looking to get in a forever home ASAP!

Meeting Dogs at the Shelter

The shelter’s kennels are loud, stressful places for dogs. Some dogs express that stress by exhibiting behavior inside a kennel that they will not show otherwise. Please ask to take the dog you are interested in to a play yard and spend some time getting to know him or her in that more relaxed environment. For more information on meeting dogs at the shelter, please read this article.
